Bobigny: A 15-Year-Old Student in a Coma After a Violent Assault, Two Suspects in Custody

A 15-year-old student was violently assaulted on Tuesday, February 4, near Angela-Davis Middle School in Bobigny (Seine-Saint-Denis). Attacked by five hooded individuals as he was leaving the school around 5 p.m., he was beaten until a school supervisor intervened, causing the attackers to flee.

Seriously injured, the teenager was rushed to Necker Hospital in Paris. His life is in danger, and he has been placed in an induced coma due to the severity of his injuries.

Two Suspects in Custody

The following morning, two individuals, including a minor, turned themselves in at the police station and admitted their involvement in the assault. They were taken into custody. An investigation has been launched to clarify the circumstances of the attack and identify the other assailants.

For now, the motive behind this attack remains unknown. Investigators are exploring several leads, including possible conflicts between youths.
