Mohamed Amra’s escape: rapper Koba LaD and five others brought to justice after 96 hours in police custody

Mohamed Amra’s Escape: Koba LaD and Five Others Referred to Court

Six people, including rapper Koba LaD, have been referred to investigating judges this Friday, March 28, for a possible indictment in connection with the investigation into the violent escape of Mohamed Amra. This information, confirmed by H24 NEWS and Le Parisien, comes after 96 hours in police custody.

A Rapper Already Incarcerated
Koba LaD, whose real name is Marcel Junior Loutarila, 24, was taken from his cell on Monday, March 24, to be questioned by investigators. He is currently in pre-trial detention for another case, awaiting trial for aggravated involuntary manslaughter following the death of one of his passengers in a car accident in September 2024 in Créteil.

An International Investigation
A total of 24 people were arrested in connection with this case, including one in Marseille and two in Germany. Among them, 16 have already been released from custody: seven as early as Tuesday, March 25, and nine others on Thursday, March 27.

The man arrested in Marseille was brought before a judge for liberties and detention in preparation for the execution of his warrant. He will be heard by the investigating judges at a later date.

The two suspects arrested in Germany are suspected of having assisted Mohamed Amra in his escape to Romania. Additionally, another key suspect, Adonis C., who was wanted by Interpol, turned himself in to the immigration office in Phuket, Thailand, on Wednesday, March 26.

A Bloody Escape
Mohamed Amra, a drug trafficker imprisoned in France, managed to escape on May 14, 2024, when his prison transport convoy was ambushed at the Incarville toll station (Eure). The violent assault resulted in the deaths of two prison officers and left three others injured. After nine months on the run, he was arrested in Romania and extradited to France at the end of February 2025. He is now being held in solitary confinement at the high-security prison of Condé-sur-Sarthe (Orne).

To date, 27 people have been indicted in connection with this case, most of whom have been placed in pre-trial detention. The investigation is ongoing to identify all those involved in this dramatic escape.
