Choose France 2025: Record €37 Billion in Investments Announced, Driven by AI and New Industrial Projects

The Élysée Palace revealed Sunday evening that €37 billion in investments will be announced at Monday’s Choose France summit—an unprecedented figure compared with €15 billion at the previous edition.

€20 Billion in Brand-New Projects Across Key Sectors

Of this total, €20 billion will fund entirely new initiatives spanning circular economy, rare earths, mobility, digital technology, logistics, and tourism. According to the Presidency, these commitments reflect “France’s growing attractiveness and ongoing reindustrialization.”

AI as a Catalyst

The remaining €17 billion pertains to projects first unveiled at the Paris Artificial Intelligence Summit in February, now concretely localized. These investments are part of a broader €109 billion AI plan for France and, as officials note, demonstrate a “significant compression of timelines” from announcement to implementation.

“This is an absolute record,” the Élysée stressed, highlighting how Choose France serves as a lever to draw international capital and accelerate the country’s industrial transformation.
