Nighttime robbery at the Mauboussin stand in Printemps: damage estimated at 300,000 euros

In the night of December 23 to 24, a man broke into the Printemps store, located in the 20th arrondissement of Paris, to steal jewelry from the Mauboussin jeweler’s stand. According to initial findings, the damage amounts to approximately 300,000 euros.

The alert was raised on December 24 at 9:30 a.m., when a security officer, during his shift, noticed that a store window had been broken. Surveillance footage reveals that the thief entered at 2:43 a.m. by unhinging a display case. He stole the jewelry and left the premises about twenty minutes later.

The individual has not yet been identified or apprehended. An investigation for burglary has been opened by the Paris prosecutor’s office and assigned to the second district of judicial police.
