Pierre Palmade: Sentence Accepted, Awaiting Incarceration Details

Sentenced on November 20 to five years in prison, including two years to be served, for causing a serious road accident under the influence of drugs, Pierre Palmade will not contest the ruling. This decision, confirmed by a source close to the investigation on Tuesday, December 3, upholds the immediate enforcement of the sentence.

Incarceration Pending

The comedian, who is not yet incarcerated, will soon be notified by the Bordeaux prosecutor’s office regarding the details of his detention, including the location and date. At this time, it remains uncertain whether his imprisonment will begin before the holiday season.

A Sentence Worsened by Repeat Offenses

Tried by the Melun court, Pierre Palmade was found guilty of unintentional injuries with aggravating circumstances: drug use and failure to adhere to safety and precautionary measures. This verdict comes in the context of repeat offenses, as the comedian had previously been convicted in 2019 for similar charges.

Initially facing a sentence of up to 14 years, Palmade received a reduced penalty of five years, with two to be served, as the legal process for his incarceration moves forward.
