Seine-Saint-Denis: Scooter delivery driver fatally hit by hit-and-run driver

On Thursday evening in Rosny-sous-Bois, Seine-Saint-Denis, a delivery driver on a scooter tragically lost his life after being hit by a car driver who had previously refused to obey. The accident occurred at around 11pm, when the delivery driver was hit by the getaway vehicle, which had already been involved in an escape attempt a few hours earlier in Montreuil. Actu 17 reports confirmed by H24 NEWS.

Despite the rapid intervention of emergency services, the man was found lying on the ground and died later that evening. Shortly after the accident, the car involved was found on fire near the scene of the collision.

The Bobigny public prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation into aggravated resisting arrest, aggravated manslaughter and damage by dangerous means. The investigation has been entrusted to the Seine-Saint-Denis regional police.
