Shooting at a Halloween party in Ardèche: three wounded, one life-threatening

On the night of November 1, a shootout broke out in the parking lot of a nightclub in Saint-Péray, Ardèche, as around 800 people gathered for a special Halloween party. Three people were shot, including a young man in his twenties, who was hit in the head and is currently in critical condition. He was rushed to hospital in Valence. A 24-year-old woman was wounded in the leg by a projectile, while a 22-year-old man was hit by shrapnel in the same area.

Evacuation under heavy surveillance

The police, who arrived quickly to secure the scene, proceeded with a meticulous evacuation of the discotheque, allowing hundreds of revellers to leave calmly to avoid any panic. So far, no arrests have been made, according to the Privas public prosecutor’s office, which is continuing its investigation to shed light on this tragic altercation.
