A Possible “Ceasefire” in Ukraine and the Need for Security Guarantees

During his visit to Washington, French President Emmanuel Macron discussed the war in Ukraine with his US counterpart, Donald Trump. The Issue of European Troops and Ukrainian Minerals

The two leaders also addressed the issue of European military involvement in Ukraine. Macron insisted that Europe is ready to send troops to guarantee peace, but emphasized that this decision would only be made after a solid peace agreement.
